When asked to comment on several contenders being disqualified from contesting in the general election, Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek said the Election Commission decides who is eligible to contest in the general election, not Barisan Nasional.
The Kemaman BN candidate said that after attending an event with Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at Pekan, Pahang on Saturday.
