Simone Biles & Aly Raisman Are GIRL POWER In Sports Illustrated 2017 Swimsuit Issue

US Olympic gymnasts Simone Biles and Aly Raisman have hung up their leos in return for sexy bikinis in the newest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, and it’s PURE GOLD.
They may make up only two-fifths of the Final Five but Simone and Aly have just scored themselves a FIVE out of five in pure girl-power perfection.
Just five months after collecting their gold medal titles in Rio, 3-time gold medalist Aly Raisman and 4-time gold medalist Simone Biles are switching gears and taking on a new venture. This time around, donning teeny bikinis, rather than their usual leotards, the girls have signed on to be part of the iconic, highly anticipated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition for 2017, and I gotta say, they’ve officially both scored a perfect 10 in my book…
The girls both posed in sexy bikinis while being shot by photographer James Macari, and in the behind-the-scenes video released, they even strike a few of their own gold-medal-winning poses. Sports Illustrated swimsuit editor MJ Day, gushed about having the girls on board, saying QUOTE, “"Aly and Simone represent all that is beautiful and strong and inspiring in women today. Women that are not only elite athletes, that are captivating and impressive in their own professional accomplishments, but strikingly sexy and beautiful in front of photographer James Macari's lens.
She goes on to say that she loves seeing the girls shine in an entirely different way, and being able to share these gorgeous and powerful images with the world, but most importantly, she concludes by saying, QUOTE, “These women, their beauty, and what they can achieve know no limits.”
Well I don’t think I could’ve said that better myself if I tried, but that’s not the only change the magazine has in store… The issue will be celebrated at the first-ever ‘VIBES’ festival held in Houston on February 17th and 18th, and will also feature a wide range of culture, music and food and will also feature performances by Diplo and Miguel, and models of the SI Swimsuit class of 2017 will be in attendance.
