The current conflict in the Middle East will not affect Singapore and Malaysia’s bilateral ties, said Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

While Singapore has diplomatic relations with Israel, Lee said the republic has made repeated statements and has condemned the conflict, violence and human tragedy of civilians as well as the massacre of innocent victims.

Although both countries do not have the same diplomatic relations with the countries in conflict, he pointed out that Malaysia has also made its position clear.
