Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik announced Siti Zainon Ismail as the 14th recipient of the National Literary Award with the title of National Artist.
He added that she had earned the award for her contributions towards the development of national literature during a press conference at the ministry’s headquarters on Tuesday.
