Starbucks Reveals Latest Drink CRAZE & Where You Can Get It

Spring is in the air and Starbucks is celebrating the season with a brand new addition to their ever growing and trendy list of drinks.
It’s time to say goodbye (for now) to your favorite winter drinks and hello to some of the most beautiful frappuccinos we’ve ever laid our eyes on.
Seriously you guys, unicorn frappuccinos, pastel colored drinks, and zombie fraps are SO 2017.
Starbucks has been slowly but surely rolling out a new batch of spring drinks and their latest one was created with sweet and salty lovers in mind. The coffee giant announced their latest drink, the Caramel Popcorn Pretzel Frappuccino and it is exactly as it sounds: a cup of caramel-y goodness with popcorn pieces and mini pretzels added to the mix.
According to Starbucks’ website, this drink is described as a QUOTE “sweet and salty, crunchy munch creation made with our signature Pop’zel (popcorn meets pretzel) syrup. Plus, it’s topped with caramel popcorn pieces, mini pretzels and ribbons of buttery caramel drizzle for the perfect nosh-able treat.
Excuse me while I wipe this drool off my face.
While this frozen treat is basically a SNACK instead of an actual blended drink, there’s just one teeny tiny problem: it’s only available in Australia and the U.K. I know, I know, such a bummer.
However, this Aussie and UK exclusive drink shouldn’t come as a huge surprise to you all since Starbucks has always had region exclusive drinks. For example, about a week ago, Teen Vogue reported that the Starbucks in Thailand and Hong Kong debuted a new pink frappuchino just in time for spring and of course, cherry-blossom season. I knowww that little bit of information doesn’t make any of this better, but hey, all these destinations are just a hop, jump, and a skip away!
But to be honest, I’m not sure if these frappuccinos are worth price tag on those international flights.
Anyway, as we all continue to drool over the new caramel popcorn pretzel frap, it seems like these drinks have been well received in the land down under. Fans have been commenting left and right on Starbucks Australia’s Instagram page. One fan wrote QUOTE, “this has to be one of my all time favourites.” While others couldn’t stop raving about how yummy the drink looks and how they can’t wait to try it!
North America, I see that look of jealousy in your eyes. Don’t worry, we’re getting some cool drinks too! Although to be clear, they’re not cool fraps, but at least they’re still new, right?
So according to a Starbucks press release, participating Starbucks locations in the United States and Canada are serving up two new drinks for a limited amount of time to celebrate spring!
These two drinks, a Hazel Nut Mocha Coconutmilk Macchiato and the Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato can be ordered hot or iced, making both of these drinks perfect for those random cold days and the warmer spring days!
And who knows, maybe Starbucks will announce some more fun drinks in the near future. We’ll just have to wait and see.
