Suaram: There is some progress after May 9, but there's still room for improvement

The government has been more open since Pakatan Harapan came into power last May, but there is also much room for improvement, according to Suaram project coordinator Dobby Chew.
At the unveiling of Suaram's 2018 Malaysia Human Rights Report yesterday he said the ministries had opened up in terms of engagement but the tabling of bills were still done in a haphazard manner and there was slow progress on law reform on human rights as well as lack of a clear roadmap for reform.
