Just when you thought, gosh Supernatural has been on for 10 seasons, how in the world will they manage to pull off something new and unique for the show’s 200th episode, well they go and do this:
That was just a sneak peek at what Variety is calling ONE of the most memorable musical numbers from the ep that will air on November 11th…which must mean, we’ll be getting multiple songs. The momentous 200th episode is titled “Fan Fiction” and in it we’ll see Sam and Dean as they look into the disappearance of a teacher, during the course of which they find out that that the school is doing a musical based on their lives. Robbie Thompson, who wrote the episode, said that he was inspired by watching the cast really grow up in front of his eyes. Fun fact – all of the characters in this musical we’ll be seeing about Sam and Dean? They’ll all be played by women because the school is an all-girls school! Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki explained that the reason they’re even still doing the show is really the fans, who they say have been champions for them over the years, and that they hope this 200th episode is a tip of the hat to them. I gotta say, Supernatural fans go hard – some of the most dedicated out there…because in truth, very very very few shows make it to 200 episodes. Just to name a few in the 200 club – we’ve got Friends, Married with Children, CSI Miami, and Saturday Night Live. Our Clevver congrats go out to the entire cast and crew on Supernatural and we want to hear from those die-hard fans out there – what is the secret behind a show making it so far – hit us up in the comments section and then click here to get 411 on another show with a massive following as we break down 9 things you probably don’t know about American Horror Story.
