Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said police investigation has revealed the suspect in Ulu Tiram acted alone and exhibited antisocial behaviour.
"The family believed that others were kafir. That is why he didn't socialise with others, did not attend public school or perform prayers at the mosques. He (the suspect) sees the public school and mosques as built by the government, and anything related to the government is kafir. Hence why he didn't socialise," said Saifuddin .
