Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Youth chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said he is 'personally principally' against the use of false education credential by anyone.
He nonetheless said will leave it up to Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to decide if Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Marzuki Yahya's position should be relinquished.
Syed Saddiq, who is also the Youth and Sports minister said this after attending a programme to change engine oil at Kampung Sesapan in Batu Rembau on Sunday.
Marzuki, who is also the party's secretary general, has been accused of misrepresentation over the fact that his degree from Cambridge International University in the United States, and not Cambridge University in England.
