Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Mujahid Yusof Rawa has confirmed reports that Tabung Haji has a RM4.1 billion deficit in terms of assets as of 2017 but paid out dividends anyway, in contravention of the law.
He said that Tabung Haji has been violating the conditions since 2014, adding that a comprehensive turnaround is in the works to deal with the situation.
