Police have ascertained the whereabouts of former Sarawak governor Abdul Taib Mahmud, who was allegedly removed from the hospital by his wife against the doctor’s advice on Saturday.
According to state police commissioner Mancha Ata, the octogenarian was found to be in his private residence in Kuching.
Mancha said police investigation into the incident is still ongoing, but declined to comment further.
