Taraji P. Henson Hands Out Cookies During Golden Globes 2016 Speech

Yeeessssss Tarajiiiii! Very well deserved! Toasting with champagne to celebrate is so cliche, she gave out cookies and yelled at a man and a teleprompter. This is why we love her.
The Empire actress took home a little gold trophy on Sunday and celebrated her win by gathering up actual cookies from her table and handing them out to stars like Lady Gaga and Leonardo DiCaprio on her way up to the stage a salute to her character!
but before her acceptance speech she had to call out the man who helped her up stage because he stepped on the long train of her Stella McCartney dress. I couldn’t tell if it was Cookie or Taraji up there.
After that she started her speech by saying "Cookies for everyone tonight. My treat. Who knew that playing an ex-convict would take me all around the globe?"
She continued on with her speech but the teleprompter gave her the signal to wrap it up but she was not having it! She yelled back saying
"Please wrap?! Wait a minute -- I waited 20 years for this. My fans have been praying for this. You gotta give me time."
Lords knows I’ve been praying! Yes give the women some time and don’t you dare start playing the music over her!
She finished up her speech by thanking Lee Daniels, the network, her family, and of course her co star saying
"Terrence Howard, I am nothing without you. Cookie is nothing without Lucious."
She definitely made the most of her time in the Golden Globes Spotlight! Congratulations Taraji you deserve it!
