Taylor Swift SOBS Over A Banana & Explains 'Drunk Taylor' Memes!

Just when you think you know Taylor Swift, she whips out something from her sleeve that surprises and delights us all. We got to see her dark side with Reputation. We loved watching her get drunk with the cast of “You Need to Calm Down”. And now none other than Jimmy Fallon is showing us a new side to Taylor Swift.
How’s it going Clevver fam, Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and painkiller Taylor might be my favorite Taylor of all time. She’s like regular Taylor Swift, but even more emotional. More vulnerable. More concerned over bananas.
Taylor, who hadn’t done a late night interview since she debuted “New Year’s Day” on Jimmy Fallon’s show in 2017, went back on Thursday night to talk to her longtime friend and promote her album “Lover”.
Always one to give tidbits and easter eggs of new information, Taylor let us know that her favorite track off her new album might be the title track - Lover. She said how she was proud that she wrote it all by herself just like she used to write songs when she was 15 years old.
She also told us how she was going to perform “Lover” on her upcoming Saturday Night Live performance this weekend, as well as one other song that she’s never performed live before.
And my gut tells me that whatever song she’s decided to sing might be the next single off of her album. My gut is also telling me that she MIGHT be announcing that single on Saturday, or even dropping a surprise music video!
You never know with her, right?
So I’ve done some speculating, as I occasionally do, and have some ideas of what that song might be.
Well, we already know that she won’t be performing You Need to Calm Down or Me, because she’s performed both of those live countless times already.
She’s performed London Boy and The Archer at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge.
And at her “City of Lover” concert in Paris’ in September, she also debuted “Cornelia Street”, “The Man”, and “Death By a Thousand Cuts”
So that leaves 9 songs that Taylor has yet to perform live for an audience, including I Forgot That You Existed, Paper Rings, False God, and Miss Americana.
But if I had to take a guess, I don’t think it’s any of those songs that she’ll perform on SNL. I think it’s going to be “Cruel Summer”.
That song has gotten a LOT of buzz and publicity since it was released and I think it’s the strongest contender to be Taylor’s next single on the album. Remember, Ellen even got it tattooed on her arm in the video for You Need to Calm Down
Now, again, I could be wrong, but that’s my professional opinion.
Something else we learned about Taylor during her Jimmy Fallon interview is that she just had lasik eye surgery, which means that she won’t need glasses or contacts to see anymore. So good for her!
Maybe Ariana should take a note from Taylor!
But also good for us, because we got to meet a side of Taylor that I never DREAMED of before.
Jimmy told her that he had talked to her mom and gotten a secret video of Taylor post-surgery while she was still out of her mind high on painkillers or laughing gas.
Now look, a lot of the bits that celebs do on late night shows are planned or even rehearsed, but this one seems legitimately off the cuff. Like Taylor ACTUALLY looked surprised and somewhat horrified as to what she was about to witness!
And I’m not talking about that surprised face she makes whenever she wins another grammy.
I mean, just look at her face. This is the face of someone who knows they’re about to be embarrassed on national television.
This is the face of someone who has a vague memory of crying after surgery, but doesn’t remember why.
This is the face of someone who will be having a serious talk their with publicist as soon as this interview is over.
And I gotta tell you. The video is gold. Just take a look.
Okay… give me a second.. I need to catch my breath from laughing!

And when Taylor sees the footage with the rest of us she is HORRIFIED.
