BN supporters shed years of joy tonight after BN won the Johor election by a landslide, securing the coveted two-thirds majority.
BN won a total of 40 seats, above the 38-seat threshold required for a two-thirds majority in the 56-member Johor state assembly.
Umno contributed a total of 33 seats for BN while MCA and MIC were responsible for four and three respectively.
