Dylan O’Brien fans, fear not! Stiles is still alive, but for how long?
Season six of Teen Wolf premiered on MTV Tuesday night. A preview of what’s to come during the final season proves Dylan O’Brien’s character Stiles still exists, despite being erased from reality by the Ghost Riders.
While we don’t know when or how we’ll him get back to the other side, it’s clear from the teaser that Scott, Lydia and their pack have realized they’re missing someone named Stiles and will fight to bring him back to reality.
Apparently, the real-life reason for Stiles’ disappearance doesn’t have to do with Ghost Riders, but Dylan’s busy schedule.
Executive Producer Jeff Davis told TV Line, QUOTE, “We approached this season with the knowledge that we’d have limited access to Dylan O’Brien because of his burgeoning movie career, and thinking, ‘If this is the last 20 episodes of Teen Wolf, how do we give everyone a really big send-off? We came up with this story that creates this big mystery about Stiles and the memory of Stiles.”
Dylan’s had a busy year working on films Deepwater Horizon, American Assassin and Maze Runner: The Death Cure. He also sustained serious injuries while filming the latest Maze Runner installment.
Luckily, Dylan recovered from his injuries and fans will get to see more of Stiles this season of Teen Wolf.
