BN secretary-general Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor had sent a letter to MyPPP instructing the party to take disciplinary action against its president M Kayveas.
MyPPP deputy secretary-general Simon Sabapathy said the letter implied the party could be "asked to leave BN".
"Pursuant to a letter received from the secretary-general of BN dated April 24, the letter in no uncertain terms requested that disciplinary hearings be held with respect to the actions of Kayveas specifically breaches of MyPPP's constitution wherein Kayveas unilaterally made decisions regarding seat allocations".
