Take a look at this video that captures the latest wall art that's making its rounds in the very heart of old Kuala Lumpur. The first part is seen at Jalan Panggung within the enclave of KL's Chinatown, while the last part is located at Jalan Walter Grenier, an alley not far from the Lot 10 mall in the Bukit Bintang tourist area. The artists have put in a lot of effort, besides colours, into their creative expressions. Never mind the subject in the art,but they must be praised for making this city more vibrant and hip by transforming otherwise old unmaintained walls into great conversation attractions. See the "cloak work" art featuring chickens to commemorate the Lunar year of chicken? How about the creative psychedelic glue sniffer and his ultimate high? The video also captures an interesting contrast between the hip and the old at the beginning with a wall filled with "signatures" and a neighbourhood granny passing through the alley as if in a time warp! This is KL street art, very much alive!
