Kendrick Lamar dropped his fourth studio album, DAMN, late Thursday night and the Internet was speechless.

All we can say is DAMN.
If you haven’t listened to DAMN yet, plot out 55 minutes of time to listen to greatness. After you’re done listening, block out 24 hours to listen to it again on repeat. Kendrick Lamar just gave us all what we’ve been waiting for. He’s definitely no stranger to creating hits that also address the current state of our country and his inner/outer struggles but the way he connects to his fans unapologetically through his music is one of the reasons he’s received critical acclaim. This particular album has some pretty incredible collaborations including Rihanna and U2, but also calls out Fox News, the election of Donald Trump, speaks of wack rappers, religion and more. The Internet definitely had a lot to say.
First Kendrick tweeted a link to his album on Apple Music and it has over seventy thousand retweets and one hundred thousand likes.
DJ Khaled took to Instagram to show his support for the new album.
Diddy also showed his support calling Kendrick King!
For More Clevver Visit:
One user tweeted “Kendrick is a mastermind & DAMN is a masterpiece. Production , subliminal messages , cadence , flow. No one else compares #DAMN”
Another user tweeted, “Sitting in my room after the Kendrick album went off. #Damn”
Then there are savage tweets like this that put Damn on a completely different level than Drake’s recent release.
Obviously, Kung Fu Kenny set the Internet on fire, but this isn’t even the best part. There’s a whole fan theory that suggests that Kendrick may be releasing an album called Nation on Easter Sunday.
This fan theory takes us down a deep rabbit hole that deals with the album being released on Good Friday, Spotify profile pic changes and so much more. Feel free to explore that theory like I did. If he does drop an album on Sunday, I don’t know if people will be ready for that.
Anyway, what do you think of Kendrick’s latest work of art and do you think he’ll drop another one on Sunday? Let us know in the comments section below. Thanks for tuning in to Clevver and don’t forget to subscribe. I’m your host Emile Ennis Jr. and I’ll see you next time!
