Malaysian citizen Nurul Ain has safely arrived back in Malaysia together with her husband, Mohamed A.M. Shaat, who is Palestinian.

On her emotional return, Nurul describes the devastating situation in Gaza, where some of her husband’s relatives were killed and their home being hit by missiles.

Nurul and her husband had been in Gaza since October 1 visiting her in-laws before the conflict erupted on October 7.

They arrived at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha, Qatar.
