Get your first look at the Thor vs. Hulk showdown in a brand new teaser for Thor: Ragnarok
But without his hammer, Thor might have some serious competition
Our first look at Thor: Ragnarok comes in the form of a brand new trailer, reuniting us with our favorite Asgardian warrior, and introducing us to a few new evil faces as well. As the trailer begins, Thor is noticeably in trouble, chained and imprisoned before we hear him say QUOTE “I know what you’re thinking. How did this happen?”
Oh yeah, he’s in some major trouble… and her name is Hela.
The merciless new threat, played by Cate Blanchett, is seen saying QUOTE “Asgard is dead” before Thor is transferred to Sakaar and imprisoned under Jeff Goldblum’s Grandmaster.
… Which is a lot to deal with, considering that Thor has to get back home to save his entire world, which just happens to be falling apart into total destruction.
Oh! And he’s got a new ‘do, too.
But it wouldn’t be a Thor trailer without at least a little bit of humor, so the trailer ends just the way you’d expect it to… with a seriously LOL moment as Thor is reunited with The Incredible Hulk and forced to fight him under the Grandmaster’s orders.
Well, that’s gonna be awkward. The trailer also shows some intense galactic battles that already look incredible, plus we get a good look at Thor’s arch-nemesis who we love to hate and just love… Loki, played by Tom Hiddleston. Altogether, we’re getting some serious Guardians of the Galaxy vibes, and we can’t wait to see how it goes down when Thor: Ragnarok hits theatres this November.
