Tori Kelly Pens Emotional Song "Blink Of An Eye" in Honor of Christina Grimmie

Christina Grimmie’s peers paid tribute to her in many ways when she tragically passed away. Some wrote beautiful messages to the late singer while others like Tori Kelly sang a song in honor of their fallen friend.
Roughly a month after Christina Grimmie was tragically taken away from the world; Tori Kelly penned a song in honor of her friend and shared her emotional musical tribute on YouTube.
Over the weekend, Tori uploaded a new song to her YouTube channel titled, ‘Blink of an Eye,’ a ballad that she co-wrote with Zac Poor for Christina. The singer-songwriter wrote in the description section QUOTE, “This song was written for Christina Grimmie after she passed away tragically. I needed to write this song. Thank you to my good friend, Zac Poor, who was brave enough to take on the challenge of writing it with me. My heart was and is still so heavy when I think of her not being with us. However, I am still comforted knowing that I’ll get to see her again someday in heaven. My prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
Even though this song had specific meaning, more recently I’m overwhelmed at the pain and the brokenness in the world today, and so this is really just me grieving. At all of it. Life is so short. Thanks for listening, I love you guys.”
Shortly after the video went up, Justin Bieber, who also performed an emotional tribute to Christina at one of his recent concerts, tweeted at Tori and said QUOTE, “@ToriKelly you have a special gift. God bless.”
