This charming business, once a reflection of life in Jonker Street, is slated disappear after this generation, due to the lack of interest in continuing the business and increased rental of the premises. As it's located at a hot tourist spot, there are intense economic pressures to transfer the ownership of the place and convert it to a traveller's inn or other businesses that can rake in more revenue.
