Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the Transport Ministry is looking into amending the Road Transport Act to ensure drivers responsible for causing deaths are banned from driving for life.
The Transport Minister also said the permit for all 28 vehicles under Usaha Maju Trading Sdn Bhd, the Kedah-based company involved in Saturday’s accident has been suspended for two weeks for the ministry to audit the firm.
