Troian Bellisario Writes Heartfelt Goodbye To Spencer On Instagram

The final (and I mean FINAL) episode of Pretty Little Liars is only a week away, leave it to Troian Bellisario to cause a premature wave of waterworks as she bids an emotional farewell to her character.
As if you weren’t already preparing for the end, Troian is giving you just one more reason to reach for those extra tissues.
PLL fans are being put through the ringer as the final week leading up to the entire series finale is creeping up faster than we can say ‘A’. Many of the cast have spoken out about this emotional time, expressing their gratitude for growing up on the show and the memories they made, including Troian Bellisario, who dedicated last night’s Instagram post to her beloved wit-smart character Spencer.
Troian, who began filming PLL when she was just 24 years old, is now 31 and still to this day does not take for granted a single moment as seen in her heartfelt tribute to her character. She posted a black and white photo of herself in character, writing QUOTE, “Nights like tonight don't make a lot of sense. The penultimate episode of a show that was almost all of my 20s is about to air which means all of this is almost a part of the past. My past. And yours.”
She goes on to talk about how Spencer shaped her, also thanking PLL writer Joseph Dougherty for bringing her to life, saying, “Spencer is so much a part of me. And someone who had an undeniably huge influence in making Spencer the genius, hilarious, twisted, tragic, scathing, wild, beautiful and vulnerable heroine she has been is @badge714 from "will the circle be unbroken" to "ShadowplAy" to my first episode I directed "In the eye Abides the heart" and finally to "FArewell my Lovely." What an appropriate title. Thanks for the ride, Joe. Spencer and I have loved every minute of our collaboration with you.”
