I have tried so much good Indonesian food so I decided it was time to try some Indonesian desserts. Just like they food I have tasted, the desserts were really awesome.

First I tried Es Telur from the restaurant Es Telur 77. This shop also sold a lot of other food like noodles and rice dishes but I went their for it's namesake Es Telur. Es Telur is a very refreshing and interesting dessert that is similar to Ice Kacang, which I have tasted while living in Malaysia. It is an ice based dessert that has fruits like jackfruit, coconut, avocado as well as cincau and coconut milk. It was so tasty and refreshing, perfect for a warm day.

In the same store I also tried Pisang Bakar. This was very different as it was warm. It is a banana based dessert with the banana being heated and covered with chocolate and condensed milk. It was nice to have a dessert that contrasted with the Es Telur.

On my way back to the hotel I also picked up some Pukis and Carabikang.

Pukis is a little sponge cake that comes in different flavours. This one was chocolate flavoured and was light and fluffy.

Carabikang is similar but it is open and looks almost flower like in its shape. For this I got Pandan flavour. It had so much more flavour due to the almost jam like texture of the pandan.
