TRYING KFC ZINGER WAFFLE BURGER IN MALAYSIA

So KFC Malaysia have just released their new burger, the Zinger Waffle Burger. It has already been very talked about so I decided to make a video where I try it.

I really enjoyed it. I would say that is partly down to my enjoyment of sweet things and this is definitely sweet.

It is the normal Zinger patty (chicken with a slightly spiced batter) which is sandwiched between two quite well made waffles. They are slightly sweet but have a nice firmness as well as being soft to bite through. They are obviously really different from normal bread buns but they are quite a nice change. They also make the burger more filling than normal bread bun burgers.

Inside there is also a slice of meat which has a firm texture but no real discernible taste.

The sweetness comes from the syrup that you can first smell as soon as you open the packet but then as soon as you bite into the burger you can taste it. I guess this may be something people like but also something that people may dislike. I don't think there will be much middle ground.

Mayonnaise completes the burger. At first I wasn't sure about this as there seemed to be too much on the burger but the more I ate, the less I cared and it tasted ok.

It is quite an expensive burger compared to other fast food burgers but it is a lot bigger and more fulfilling.
