一封前線新聞工作者的公開聯署信，揭露無綫新聞部，於報道佔中事件上出現內部撕裂，前線與決策層出現分岐。04年時任無綫電視新聞部總監羅燦表示，今次絕對是一個危機。「這個當然是一個危機，一個新聞中心會變危險的，就是高層與前線員工有分裂，對服務大眾的新聞部，穩定性是有影響。」
