Tyga found himself in some legal trouble after owing $480,000 to his landlord and then failing to appear in court. And because Tyga missed his court date, a warrant for his arrest was issued while he was out of town that permitted U.S Customs to detain him upon his return, and notify the L.A authorities to come arrest him. Luckily for him, TMZ recently reported that Tyga and his lawyers have settled the case by cutting the landlord a check for an undisclosed amount. Sources are reporting that the settlement may have been less than the 480,000 originally owed, but the actual amount is being kept under wraps. Going forward, Tyga’s lawyer is scheduled to make an appearance in court today to ask the judge to withdraw the warrant now that the case has been settled, however the judge does have the option to refuse simply due to the fact that Tyga defied the court by not showing up for his court date.
Tyga has been celebrating with Kylie for her birthday in Turks in Caicos this week so it would be a real bummer to have to come back home to handcuffs. Not my idea of a welcome home present. So do you guys think the judge should drop the warrant now that Tyga has paid the landlord?
