UberHK今日於其網頁表示，為提升整體平台體驗及考慮到駕駛成本持續上升，周三（8月29日）起將調整 UberX的車資計算方法，其中基本車資大幅上調，意味著短途客收費將大幅提高。此外Uber亦增設司機等候收費，由司機抵達上車地點後3分鐘起，系統將開始計算以每分鐘$2等候時間費用，但若最終取消行程，則只需支付取消費用。
