Umno president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Thursday said that the party would be sending representatives led by its secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa to the "Kongres Maruah Melayu" (Malay Dignity Congress) on Sunday (Oct 6) at Stadium Malawati in Shah Alam.
Ahmad Zahid, who has two pre-scheduled national and state-level Umno events to attend on Sunday, will be giving the congress a miss.
