The Umno supreme council has called on all BN state governments to amend their laws to facilitate new Federal Constitution clauses that are aimed at discouraging lawmakers from switching parties

Umno secretary-general Ahmad Maslan said the party is also not ruling out the possibility of amending its constitution to bring it in line with the amendments and would discuss and seek the advice of Umno's legal advisers.
