In a statement, Umno Youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said he does not think sending his children to Chinese vernacular schools (SJKC) is contradictory to his objection to recognising the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC).
Dr Asyraf’s statement came following netizens’ comments that the Umno Youth chief was contradicting himself in regards to Chinese education in the country.
