Selangor's Works Department has upgraded Jalan Raya 1, Jalan SK 12/1 and part of Jalan Besar, in Serdang at a cost of RM3.9mil. Although the upgrades help ease congestion, the Works Ministry is being urged to come up with a long-term solution for traffic woes in the area.
