This is a great thing to bake for Valentine's Day if you are trying to cheer up all your single friends, trying to woo more than one person, or if you just LOVE eating cake! It'll feed 12-15 people and looks amazeballs!
Recipe -
For the sponge -
500g soft unsalted butter
500g caster sugar
8 large eggs
500g self raising flour
6 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
pink, red and purple food colouring
For the buttercream - (make 3 times this recipe)
PLUS - 5 balls of sugarpaste, each the size of a small tangerine, coloured with pink, red and purple food colouring
