Like many other countries in Asia, Vietnam is growing faster than it can handle.

For one thing, that means a lot of people driving a lot of vehicles.

The Vietnamese government says it now has a plan to avoid the kind of traffic problems Jakarta is infamous for and the pollution problems in Beijing.

Officials in Ho Chi Minh City are trying everything from building more places where people can walk, to encouraging more electric cars.
