The Election commission has reported a 65% voter turnout as of 3pm today.
Due to the higher number of voters this year, a 65 percent turnout translates to almost 13.76 million votes, which is 1.46 million more voters than the final turnout in the 14th general election.
In 2018, with a final turnout of 82.3 percent, the total number of voters who participated in that election was 12.99 million.
