Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail related that she had spent time on Sunday morning accompanying Anwar Ibrahim to watch the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Liverpool.
She also quipped that her "escort" had not watched any football matches for a very long time.
"My point is, we are all working together as a team to rebuild the country.
"We cannot do it on our own. Winning or losing is a normal thing. In the end, it is the people who must win," she said at a function with some 300 people at the Nurul Hidayah mosque in her constituency of Pandan on Sunday.
