Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has stressed that there will not be a repeat of the Sheraton Move - which led to the collapse of the previous Pakatan Harapan government in 2020.

In a radio interview with BFM, Wan Fayhsal said the Perikatan Nasional coalition made a commitment to the electorate that it will be a responsible and dignified opposition.

“No, no, no, I think this (a repeat of the Sheraton Move) is something we must dispel. The commitment we’ve made to the public and the electorate that we are going to be a responsible and dignified opposition, I’m very much gearing up to be a good opposition member,” he said, adding that he would be one of the youngest MPs.
