The focus is now on the Pelangai by-election (DUN), said Perak Chief Minister Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail who refused to entertain speculation that he would be appointed as a member of the Unity Government Cabinet soon.

He said that as a "party member", he is willing to obey all the decisions made by Umno but considers the speculations as rumours.

Earlier media reports on the cabinet reshuffle also cited the name of Wan Rosdy as one of the state leaders to join Anwar Ibrahim's cabinet.
