Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali told Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to solve the flood woes in his own constituency of Pekan first, before talking about the water issue in Selangor.
The Gombak MP said the Selangor state government had managed to overcome the flood issues in Kajang, whereas flood woes are an ongoing problem in Pekan, Pahang.
Yesterday, when replying to Azmin's question in Parliament on whether the 1MDB issue had anything to do with Malaysia increasing its spending to pay interest on national debt, Najib said that the water disruption that had affected parts of Selangor and Kuala Lumpur recently was more critical than 1MDB.
