Malaysia has recorded its lowest ever ranking on the Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) ranking 62 under the 2017 index, which was launched by Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) in Kuala Lumpur today.
In a press conference today TI-M president Akhbar Satar said that even African countries like Botswana, which is ranked 34 had improved.
He said that in order to convince the Rakyat, the government has to show their integrity and rectify any problems and not get involved with corruption.
