The government should not bow to pressure to deport Islamic preacher Dr Zakir Naik as it has considered various factors including the laws, said Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
He said you had to look at the reasons before responding to any pressure or else someone will become a victim.
He said this when asked to comment on Penang Deputy Chief Minister II P Ramasamy who had urged the government to extradite Zakir as the Indian government has accused the him of numerous crimes.
