PAS wants the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Paul Low to fast-track the tabling and implementation of political financing laws, in order to curb money politics and foreign donations in the upcoming general election.
PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said this is so the practice of money politics and corruption can be controlled, and to avoid incidents of vote buying.
He said all the studies and feedback on the Political Donations and Expenditure Act (PDEA) should have been done already and questioned what was causing the delay.
