The Internet is pretty upset with model Winnie Harlow over a very first world problem, but now she’s clapping back and seems to be upset that we’re upset.
What’s up? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and Winnie Harlow is currently dealing with backlash on Instagram right now after posting a pic of herself sleeping on the plane.
Looks pretty harmless right? She’s sleeping on her friend and makeup artist known as Makeup by Mario.
You probably recognize him because he’s also Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist.
But it wasn’t the photo that upset fans. It was the caption. Many people interpreted her caption as complaining that she wasn’t flying in first or business class.
Listen Winnie, I’ve never flown anything but coach, but I hear you. The struggle is real.
While, Winnie did talk about being "grateful" for getting on a flight after a cancellation, people took issue with one part of her caption in particular.
She said quote, “The amazing airport escort got my team and I put on the fastest flight out but we had to give up our business class seats in order to land in time for a huge shoot at 6am. I realize this may not seem like a big deal to some, but when a plane is your bedroom and a flight the only time to get sleep during a hectic fashion month, it’s tiresome.”
And the comments look a little something like this.
One person said quote, “People ride in those seats everyday so this really isn’t a big deal but ok
