The High Court in Shah Alam has ruled that Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos, who is charged with two offences of trespassing two gambling premises, and fleeing police custody, should be allowed to post bail.
Bail was set at RM20,000 for all three offences.
Senior lawyer Shafee Abdullah said he was compelled to help Jamal because the Umno leader is an underdog who is being bullied by the system.
Earlier today, the Ampang Magistrate's Court revoked the bail orders issued to Sungai Besar Umno division chief Jamal Md Yunos.
