The woman who went against traffic on the overtaking lane on KM 134 of the North-South Expressway near Butterworth on Tuesday morning is to be charged with a drug-related offence at the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate's Court today.
Seberang Prai Tengah district police chief Assistant Commissioner Nik Ros Azhan Nik Abdul Hamid said the woman, would be charged under Section 15(1) of the Dangerous Drug Act after testing found amphetamine in her system.
The woman carries an “OKU Card” (disabled person’s card) issued by the Welfare Department in 2011 which has been confirmed as being genuine.
