The alleged leaked conversation between Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim is fake, according to the Umno president.
In a statement released this afternoon, Zahid expressed shock and disappointment over the allegation that he spoke to Anwar after the Umno general assembly and that the conversation was recorded.
Zahid said he appears to be a victim of a political scheme to weaken or destroy Umno.
