In May 2015, more than two dozen mass graves of Rohingya migrants, believed to be victims of human trafficking, were discovered along the Thai-Malaysian border in Wang Kelian, Perlis.
More than 100 skeletal remains were exhumed by authorities.
Now, Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has called for investigations to be reopened, based on a report published by The New Straits Times.
The newspaper's 'Special Probes Team' met Zahid to share findings from its two-year investigative project.
