Zayn Malik’s lips are anything but sealed in his first in-depth interview since deciding to part ways with One Direction and we’ve got all the details right here on Clevver News.
So sit tight because all those burning questions you still may have about Zayn’s relationship with the band and even his personal relationships are about to be answered.
Zayn’s decision to leave One Direction was enough of a shock to fans, but the real hostility held toward the former 1D member came shortly after when he also decided to part ways with his girlfriend and fiancée, Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards.
Although she was left heartbroken, Zayn is setting the remaining breakup rumors straight, saying he absolutely did NOT break up with her via text message. He revealed to the mag, QUOTE, “I have more respect for Perrie than to end anything over text message. I love her a lot, and I always will, and I would never end our relationship over four years like that. She knows that, I know that, and the public should know that as well. I don't want to explain why or what I did, I just want the public to know I didn't do that."
And while we’re on the subject of One Direction relationship rumors, Zayn is about to break even more hearts because for the very first time, he has officially confirmed there are NO secret bandmate relationships, and yes, that means all you Larry Stylinson hopefuls are about to get your dreams shattered.
Zayn talked seriously about the rumors, saying, "There's no secret relationships going on with any of the band members. It's not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them.” He went on to say that the band mates are well-aware of the rumors, and that QUOTE, “they won't naturally go put their arm around each other. They won't do that natural behavior.”
However, Zayn and the lads have no hard feelings toward their beloved fans. He said, “It's just the way the fans are. They're so passionate, and once they get their head around an idea, that's the way it is regardless of anything. If it wasn't for that passionate, like, almost obsession, then we wouldn't have the success that we had."
