It’s a good Monday for Zayn Malik fans now that we have the first look at the track listing of his debut album.
Zayn Malik tweeted out the list of songs we’re all looking forward to hearing when his album drops this month! We’re excited, even if the list is a little difficult to read…
No, his shift key wasn’t broken, the tracklisting for Zayn’s new album just doesn’t know if it wants to upper case or not. Regardless, we’re looking forward to the album dropping. We’ve already heard Pillowtalk and Zayn went on record saying that It’s You is about his ex, Perrie Edwards, but what about “She don’t Love Me.” Who could that be about, hm? Also, the list shows that we can look forward to hearing a collab between Zayn and Kehlani, which is sure to be amaaaazing. But what we still REALLY want to know is if there’s a connection between Zayn’s song ‘BeFour’ and 1D’s album ‘Four.’ Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. The album is comprised of 18 other songs and drops later this month on March 25, a date that marks one year since the singer announced he was leaving One Direction for good. While we can’t be sure if that’s his way of throwing a little shade to his former bandmates, the date has definitely had fans talking since it was announced. After all, Zayn has not been very quiet regarding his reasons for leaving 1D. Earlier this year, the artist told Fader Magazine that QUOTE “There was never any room for me to experiment creatively in the band.” Simon Cowell, however, disagrees.
The man we can all thank for giving us One Direction, Simon Cowell told E! News that he thinks Zayn may reconsider his statements. He told E! QUOTE "I think once [Zayn] has had a chance to reflect on everything, he will probably reconsider what he's said because it was a very, very democratic process in the band." He went on to express that Malik’s comments were QUOTE “a bit rude.” However, Simon Cowell still has a lot of love for Zayn saying QUOTE “He’s done fantastic, and he’s showing that he’s a great vocalist and very talented.”
While we anxiously await the album to drop, there is more 1D-related news we can all lose our minds over. When asked about the remaining One Direction members exploring their own solo careers, Simon Cowell made our dreams come true. E! asked Simon if we can expect more solo projects from Harry, Niall, and Louis, to which he replied QUOTE “Yeah, there will be more, I’m absolutely sure of that. I’m sorry, what? How are you going to just drop that kinda news so nonchalantly like we’re not going to freak out? HELLO.
Now the only question remaining is when can we expect these solo ventures from the boys and what do you all think that means for One Direction when it finally happens? Let me know your thoughts on the boys going solo and what you think about the tracklisting for Zayn’s new album down in the comments below and then click this box over here for Gigi Hadid’s music video moments.
